Copyright and notice policy
FastVid respects creators and rights holders. This page explains how to report a copyright concern connected to the service.
Effective: July 20, 2026
Service scope
FastVid does not claim ownership of media returned for a submitted link and does not operate Facebook or Meta. Rights remain with the creator or other rights holder.
FastVid can review its own pages, processing rules and reported URLs. It cannot remove an underlying post hosted solely by another platform.
What to include in a notice
Send identification of the copyrighted work, the relevant FastVid page or media URL, your name and contact information, a statement of good-faith belief, a statement that the information is accurate and confirmation that you are authorized to act.
Include a physical or electronic signature where required. False or incomplete notices can create legal consequences or delay review.
Where to send it
Email notices to contact@fastvid.net with the subject Copyright Notice. Do not include passwords, cookies or unrelated private information.
For removal of the original Facebook post, also use the reporting process provided by the platform that hosts the content.
Review and response
We may request missing information, restrict a reported URL, preserve necessary records or forward a valid notice to a relevant provider. A restriction does not decide ownership of the underlying work.
Where applicable, a person affected by a restriction may contact us with identification of the material, a good-faith statement explaining the mistake and the legally required contact and jurisdiction information.
Repeat abuse and legal advice
FastVid may restrict repeated infringement or misuse of the service when supported by reliable evidence. We also act against fraudulent notices and attempts to misuse the reporting process.
This policy is general information, not legal advice. Consult a qualified professional if you need advice about your rights or obligations.
