Facebook Reels Downloader

Copy a public Reel link, paste it here and save an available video format to your device.

Public Reels only. Source quality is preserved.

Public Facebook video, Reel, Watch, share and fb.watch links are supported when the source is accessible.

Save a public Facebook Reel

Use the Reel's own Share menu for the most reliable link.

01

Open the Reel

In Facebook, open the Reel itself, choose Share, then choose Copy link.
02

Paste the complete URL

Add the Reel link above and choose Download. A feed, notification or message URL may point to the wrong page.
03

Save the returned video

Choose an available quality. If the format says Render, keep the tab open until the combined file is ready.

A Reel-specific workflow without account access

Direct Reel links

The page is tuned for public facebook.com/reel links copied from the Reel's Share action.

Video and audio explained

A direct MP4 can download immediately. Some higher-quality options need rendering when audio and video arrive separately.

Phone-friendly saving

Use Safari or Chrome, then find the file in Files or Downloads and move it to Photos or Gallery if needed.

No private profile access

A Reel visible only to friends, group members or logged-in viewers remains outside the public workflow.

Reel format, orientation and audio

Facebook Reels are commonly vertical videos, so a downloaded file usually keeps the portrait orientation chosen by the creator. FastVid does not crop, rotate or upscale the result. The resolution shown belongs to the format returned for that Reel.

Audio is included when it is part of the selected downloadable file. Some quality variants can expose audio and video as separate streams; those results need a render step before a combined file is available. If Facebook removed or muted audio from the source, FastVid cannot recreate it.

After an iPhone download, the MP4 usually appears in the Files app before you choose Save Video to move it into Photos. Android browsers commonly place it in Downloads. The exact wording and folder can vary by browser version.

Facebook Reels questions

Can I download a Reel from a private profile?

No. FastVid can check a Reel only when its media is publicly accessible without your Facebook account or another access control.

Why does a Reel open for me but fail here?

You may be seeing it through a logged-in session, friendship or group membership. Test the link in a private browser window while logged out to check public availability.

Will the downloaded Reel include audio?

It includes audio when the selected format contains it or when a required render job can combine the available streams. Removed or unavailable audio cannot be restored.

Can I save a Reel directly to iPhone Photos?

Safari normally downloads the file into Files. Open it there, choose Share and use Save Video when iOS offers that action.

Is there a watermark added by FastVid?

FastVid does not add its own visual watermark. The returned file can still contain branding, captions or marks already present in the source video.
